Picky with Perfume
I don't buy perfume often and it's because I have a rotation of a few that I've tried over the last 15-20 years. When I find a perfume I like enough to want to buy, it's added into the rotation.

I have a little tray with, like, 4 perfumes that I love. I try my best to avoid getting those little samples when I'm shopping because they add up and the clutter overwhelms me. I am also very picky when it comes to adding a new scent into my rotation.
Coco Mademoiselle
I have been a fan of everything Chanel for as long as I can remember. I've been inspired by the brand's elegance since I was in middle school. When I was 13, I asked my mom for Coco Mademoiselle for Christmas and I used to go smell it every time we went to Macys. It was my most favorite perfume ever and still is. I wore it during my first jury trial. In fact, in most of my jury trials. It's been almost 20 years of me using this perfume and I never get tired of it.
A little fun fact. During freshman year in high school, my class had an assignment to write letters to companies who's products we liked or to explain any issues. Keep in mind I was 14 and my parents were not into high end designers, especially for their unemployed teenage daughter. So I wrote a letter to Chanel telling them how much I loved Coco Mademoiselle and that it would be amazing if they could put it on sale once in awhile for people like me who couldn't afford it.
Since then, I've gone through many bottles of this perfume and I plan on going through many more in the years to come.

J'adore Dior
When I started my first job as a lawyer, I wanted another fancy perfume to wear on days I didn't want to wear Chanel. I smelled J'adore at some point in my early 20s while I was flipping through a Cosmopolitan magazine and knew right away that was going in my cart when the next Sephora sale happened.
It's the perfume I get the most compliments with. And I just like the bottle, it's pretty.

Santal 33
This is the most expensive perfume I wear and the second I smelled it, I knew it needed to be in the rotation. After years of switching between Coco Mademoiselle and J'Adore, I was in my 2nd year of being a lawyer and felt like I had earned another addition to my rotation.
I began following a Sammi Jeffcoate on TikTok and she mentioned Santal 33 by Le Labo very frequently. Then I was watching the Flight Attendant with Kaley Cuoco (I still don't agree with HBO cancelling that show) and Santal 33 ended up being important in identifying someone. I was intrigued and found myself in LA a few months later. I walked into the Le Labo store and walked out with a sample bottle of Santal 33. That finished quickly because I used it almost every day. Then I realized I needed it to become a permanent part of the rotation and invested in a regular sized bottle.

Miss Dior
I like the name of this one because it's like Miss Deol :) Anyways, this is the most recent perfume in my rotation. It was a gift from my parents for my 31st birthday so it's special. Hasn't been long since I've had it but I like to wear it every chance I get.

Will I ever add another perfume into my small collection? I have had my eye on one more for a few years now but I'm not in a position to financially justify the investment. Baccarat Rouge. Smells so good but no, I can't justify the price tag right now. Ideally I'll have a bottle by the end of 2025 but time will tell.
